Power distribution between the front and rear axles is achieved through a limited-slip differential with multiple clutches in the centre differential. A power distribution of 100:0 or 50:50 between the front and rear can be achieved, which improves fuel economy by driving with front-wheel drive in smooth daily road conditions. When facing bad road conditions, the multi-plate clutch can complete the combination in a few tens of milliseconds, distributing the power from the central driveshaft to the rear wheels for quick extrication.

Compared to the DCT Intelligent 4WD system, the DTV Dynamic Vectoring 4WD has a stronger power distribution capability of the 4WD system, which realises the on-demand distribution of power between the front and rear axles and the two rear wheels. In the case of cross-axle conditions, the DTV Dynamic Vectoring 4WD is able to transfer 50% of the power to the single wheel that has the traction, which enables a quicker extrication. In addition to enhancing vehicle stability and off-road capability, DTV Dynamic Vectoring 4WD can control the left or right rear wheel individually when the vehicle enters and exits a corner, making the entry and exit of the corner more flexible. It achieves a state of one-person-vehicle control, and also enhances driving pleasure.
