From the side, the rear of the GAC AION LX is relatively long, but from the rear, the whole rear gives a more compact feel and the rounded body lines make it look particularly chunky. The hollowed-out roof spoiler combined with the penetrating taillights with dot-matrix decorations creates a light mecha style. The rear surround is wrapped in a wide black trim panel and a wide silver trim panel has been added, with dot-matrix trim laid out on both sides to enhance the metallic look of the rear.
