The 2024 BYD E2 has abandoned the "Dragon Face" design language and adopted a marine aesthetic instead. The large dot-matrix air intake grille has been replaced by the mainstream closed grille commonly found in new energy vehicles today. While the shape and structure of the headlights follow the previous style, the chrome strip running through the light cluster has been replaced with a new black material, paired with black decorative parts below the headlights, giving the car a more sporty atmosphere.
The dimensions of the 2024 BYD E2 are 4260mm in length, 1760mm in width, and 1530mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2610mm. The vehicle is 40mm longer than the previous model, but the rest of the dimensions remain the same. As a mid-term facelift model, it is common for vehicles to undergo only minor adjustments in size. In terms of styling, the wheel design of the 2024 BYD E2 has been slightly updated, but the body still maintains the sporty hatchback feel, looking like a small powerhouse ready to take off.
The interior of the 2024 BYD E2 has also been upgraded. The materials and design are consistent with those of the Ocean Series, offering a more attractive combination of luxury and technology compared to the previous model. The flat-bottomed multifunction steering wheel now features a pure black design, with the BYD logo in the center upgraded to the latest style. Additionally, the rotatable central control screen has been upgraded to a narrow-frame design, making it look more refined, while the air-conditioning vents have been redesigned with a glossy black finish, better aligning with the overall color tone.
