In the exterior design of the BYD Xia, there is a sense of grandeur that resonates with the Xia Dynasty. The vehicle features a waterfall grille design, with staggered metal strips that are particularly eye-catching against the black background. However, unlike other models in the Dynasty series, the BYD Xia does not use Chinese characters; instead, it has the "BYD" English logo engraved on the metal panel. This is because BYD plans to invite the public to participate in a co-creation process, gathering design submissions for the "Xia" logo from society. The collection activity will officially begin in the near future.

Product description

The appearance of the BYD Xia adopts the classic "Dragon Face" aesthetic design style of the BYD Dynasty family. The "Dragon Beard" trim features a 3D three-dimensional structure with spray paint and a front semi-transparent blackened style, creating a strong sense of layering. The grille follows a dragon scale armor design, giving it a very domineering look.

In terms of size, the BYD Xia measures 5145 mm in length, 1970 mm in width, and 1805 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3045 mm, fitting the dimensions of a standard medium-to-large MPV. Additionally, the new car features hidden slide rails, which greatly enhance its exterior beauty and give it a more integrated appearance. The interior has not yet been announced, but it is expected to adopt similar design concepts to those seen in models like the Denza D9.

The BYD Xia will be powered by BYD's new generation plug-in hybrid system and will be equipped with the Yunnian-C intelligent damping body control system to improve comfort and stability during both riding and driving. Additionally, the BYD Xia will offer the DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system and the DiLink 150 intelligent cockpit, aiming to meet the higher demands of family users for intelligent driving and a smart experience.
