NIO starts order locking for All-New ES8 SUV

On June 28, NIO announced it has started locking orders for its flagship SUV, the All-New ES8, and display and test drive vehicles have been arriving at showrooms in various cities.

Starting from June 28, 2023, orders locked in before and on July 3, 2023, will be produced and delivered roughly in the sequence of deposit payment. Orders locked in from July 4 onwards will be produced and delivered roughly in the sequence of the order lock-in time.

Customers who pay a deposit to purchase the All-New ES8 before and on July 31, 2023 will enjoy limited-time benefits, including: the first home charging pile entitlement worth 7,500 yuan, two years of free NOP+ subscription worth 9,120 yuan, and NIO Air AR glasses plus the NIO Air smart ring worth 2,597 yuan.

The backrests of the first and second rows of seats have been adjusted to match the interior color, enhancing the visual effect and further elevating the interior's luxury feel. The panel of the intelligent in-car refrigerator has been optimized to match the interior color as well, creating a more harmonious and unified visual effect with the leather wrapping of the executive center console.

The 21-inch multi-spoke silver wheels are now paired with upgraded Pirelli P Zero low-rolling-resistance and low-noise tires. The CLTC range of the 75 kWh battery version will increase to 465km, and the CLTC range of the 100 kWh battery version will increase to 605km, with no change in add-ons’ prices.

NIO launched the All-New ES8 on the NIO Day 2022 in Dec. last year. The design of the six-seater-SUV showcases NIO’s concepts of “Design for AD”. Based on NIO’s latest high-efficiency electric drive platform, the All-New ES8 carries two motors with the total maximum output of 480 kW. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and comes to a complete stop from 100km/h in 34.3 meters.
