Changan Automobile Qiyuan Q05 Compact SUV

The Q05 model of the Qiyuan new energy vehicle brand under Changan Automobile has been selected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.

Being on the list means that the Q05 model has officially received regulatory approval.
The Q05 is slated to be a compact SUV with the same dimensions as Changan's second-generation CS55 PLUS, measuring 4,539 millimeters in length, 1,865 millimeters in width, 1,680 millimeters in height and a wheelbase of 2,656 millimeters. The Q05 is expected to make its debut later this year, the sources noted.

The Chang'an Qichen Q05 adopts a plug-in hybrid system. This 1.5L engine, named JL473Q5, has a maximum power of 81kW and a maximum speed of 180 km/h. According to the different configurations, this model is equipped with permanent magnet synchronous motors of different power levels, with peak output powers of 140 kW and 158 kW, respectively. The power comes from batteries provided by CALB or EVE Power.
It is worth noting that Changan Qiyuan released official images of the first mass-produced model A07 in June this year. Unlike Q05, A07 is positioned as a mid to large pure electric sedan. Both models adopt the brand new logo of Qiyuan brand, and the design language is completely different from the existing Chang'an product line.
