Yanwang U7 launch event is scheduled for 27th March, with 1300hp, 2.9 seconds 100KM/H and 1000KM range!

On 13th March, Yangwang Automobile officially unveiled the launch schedule of its million-dollar new energy flagship model - Yangwang U7, which is scheduled for a grand opening on 27th March. This much-anticipated new car will be equipped with the cutting-edge E-square platform technology, and its extraordinary strength will be demonstrated with the configuration of four wheels and four motors. On the eve of the launch, Yangwang Automobile revealed to the public the two core technologies of the Cloud Chariot-Z equipped in the new car through a preview video. These technologies are able to collaboratively control the body attitude and achieve ‘extreme rescue’ in extreme situations. Even if the vehicle is suddenly rear-ended from the side at a high speed of 100km/h, the U7 will still be able to keep driving stably. What is even more amazing is that the new car can make a prediction within ‘milliseconds’ before the side collision occurs, and actively lift the side chassis to achieve a negative lateral inclination attitude, claiming that ‘cornering is not only smooth’. At the same time, the new car does not raise its head when accelerating and does not nod when braking, demonstrating excellent handling performance.

In terms of exterior design, the Yangwang U7 adopts the highly recognisable family design language - Time and Space. The new car presents a downward-pressing posture as a whole, which complements the family's signature headlight group shape, further enhancing the recognition of the front face. The roof is even equipped with advanced LiDAR, providing strong support for intelligent driving.

From the side, the Yangwang U7 has smooth lines on the roof, front and rear wheels, inspired by the ‘energy crystal’, which creates an elegant and unique new proportion and posture. The A-pillar of the entire car is positioned forward, making the proportion between the cabin and the length of the car more harmonious. Compared with traditional executive sedans, the Yangwang U7 presents a new form and proportion of executive sedan, which is eye-catching. In terms of body dimensions, the new car's length, width and height are 5265*1998*1517mm, and its wheelbase reaches 3160mm. In addition, thanks to the body flow control technology and the optimised design of many aerodynamic accessories, the wind resistance of the Yangwang U7 is only 0.195Cd, which demonstrates its excellent aerodynamic performance.

In terms of interior, the new car follows the design concept of Yangwang U8's “Star Ring Cockpit”. It is equipped with a 12.8-inch OLED curved screen in the middle position, and is equipped with the new-generation DiLink Intelligent Internet Connection System that adopts a 4-nanometer cockpit chip and supports full-scene voice assistant functions. In addition, Yangwang U7 is also equipped with AR-HUD head-up display, providing drivers with a more convenient and intelligent driving experience.

In terms of power, relying on the extreme performance of the E-Square, the Yangwang U7's individual motors have a maximum power of up to 240kW, and the maximum power of the whole vehicle exceeds 1,300hp. The peak torque of the four motors is about 1,584N-m, and the peak speed can reach 21,000rpm, with the highest efficiency of the assembly reaching 94.5 per cent. This enables the new car to complete the 0-100km/h acceleration test in as little as 2.9 seconds. In terms of intelligent driving, the Yangwang U7 comes standard with two NVIDIA Orin-X Intelligent Driving Chips, with an arithmetic power of up to 508 TOPS. at the same time, the new car is also equipped with three ultra-long-range LIDARs, five millimetre-wave radars, 13 high-definition cameras, as well as 12 ultrasonic radars, which allow for L2+ high-level Intelligent Driving Assistance capabilities, providing a safer and more convenient driving experience for the driver.
