A few days ago, LI AUTO officially released the official drawings of its Li auto i8 model, the new car is positioned as a pure electric six-seat SUV, targeting the Tesla Model X. However, unlike the Model X, which is oriented towards performance, the Ideal i8 is more oriented towards home comfort.

From the official drawings, the new car's front face adopts a design language similar to that of the LI MEGA, with a closed grille design in a relatively simple style, and penetrating daytime running lights located at the bottom of the front windshield, which effectively stretches the horizontal visual width of the front face. The shape of the front end has obvious changes compared to the LI MEGA, in line with the identity of the pure electric SUV.

The grille has vertical deflector slots on both sides of the wings to improve aerodynamic performance, with smoked high and low beams, and polygonal air intakes at the bottom, giving the overall visual effect a more rounded appearance. The roof is also equipped with LiDAR, meaning the new car supports high-level assisted driving.

There is no clear news about the size, through the official release of the picture, its length may be slightly longer than the Model X. The new car will have the same powertrain as the Ideal MEGA.
Power is also no relevant parameters exposure, some media believe that the new car will follow the ideal MEGA powertrain, equipped with front and rear dual-motor four-wheel-drive system, the integrated maximum power of 400kW, paired with a battery pack with a capacity of 102.7kWh, CLTC operating range may be slightly longer than the ideal MEGA's 710km.
