BYD's 2025 Yuan PLUS SUV to be unveiled with exterior upgrades and Smart Drive version

BYD announced that its 2025 Yuan PLUS SUV will be officially launched later this month. The new model will not only be upgraded in terms of exterior and interior, but will also launch a Smart Driving version equipped with the ‘God's Eye’ intelligent driving system, further enhancing the vehicle's sense of technology and competitiveness. Currently on sale BYD Yuan PLUS guide price of 119,800 yuan - 147,800 yuan.

The Eye of God ‘C’ series is the lowest-rated version of BYD's Eye of God Advanced Intelligent Driving System, which is still a bit different from the ‘B’ series and ‘A’ series with LIDAR, while the ‘B’ series and ‘A’ series with LIDAR are still a bit different. At the same time, this system does not support the city NOA assisted navigation function, but supports high-speed and expressway intelligent driving navigation. Of course, compared to competitors in the same price range, BYD down to 100,000-class products on the God's Eye C system, does have a certain advantage.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) declaration, the 2025 Yuan PLUS has made a number of adjustments to its exterior design. The new car has been optimised mainly in the front bumper, chrome strips on the lower edge of the doors, D-pillar trim and rear surround styling, resulting in a more stylish and sporty overall look. The vehicle also offers an optional trinocular camera as well as a camera in the front wing panel position, suggesting that the vehicle will be available in a Smart Drive version to further enhance driving safety and convenience.

In terms of specifications, the current Yuan PLUS measures 4455 x 1875 x 1615 mm in length, width and height, with a wheelbase of 2720 mm. 2025 Yuan PLUS is equipped with a drive motor model TZ200XSQ with a maximum power of 150 kW, which is the same as the current model. In terms of range, referring to the current model, the new car will be available in 430km and 510km versions to meet the needs of different users.

The launch of the 2025 Yuan PLUS not only upgrades the exterior, but also improves the vehicle's sense of technology and intelligence through the introduction of the ‘God's Eye’ Intelligent Driving System.
