Maximum range of 525km MG ES5 to be officially launched on 6 November

   MG ES5 will be officially launched on 6th November. The new car is positioned as a compact SUV, based on SAIC's ‘Nebula’ pure electric architecture, with a pure electric powertrain and a maximum range of 525km.

   Looking back at the new car, the entire styling adopts the latest design language, and the split headlight clusters together with the closed front end design allow the new car to display the attributes of a new energy vehicle. The front surround also adopts a dual-segment cooling opening design, adding some sporty atmosphere.

   Side of the body, the new car waistline through the body to the tail, front and rear side of the wing plate is embellished with a wide wheel brow, while matching the double five-spoke wheels. The rear of the car is equipped with a roof spoiler and through the tail lamp group, lit with a high degree of recognition. Body dimensions, length, width and height are 4476mm/1849mm/1621mm, wheelbase is 2730mm.

   In the interior, the new car adopts a full LCD instrument panel and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and the centre console is equipped with a large multimedia touch screen of floating design. Configuration, the new car will be equipped with mobile phone wireless charging, ACC adaptive cruise control, ICA intelligent cruise assist, 360 panoramic image and many other features.

   On the chassis, the new car adopts a front MacPherson, rear multi-link independent suspension combination. In terms of power, the new car adopts a single-motor rear-drive layout, with a maximum motor power of 125 kW, a peak torque of 250 Nm, a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 8 seconds, and a CLTC pure electric range of 425km, 515km, and 525km respectively.
