   A few days ago, Geely's first light off-road SUV was officially named ‘Geely Cowboy’, and the official preview of the new car was also released. From the preview, it coincides with Geely's previous declaration of a new SUV, which is based on the ICON, adding a number of crossover packages. Geely Cowboy combines the style of an off-road SUV and the practicality of a traditional SUV to meet the needs of young users for different scenarios such as daily home use and light outdoor use such as camping and fishing.

    From the latest teaser image, the new car adopts a two-tone body and floating roof, adopts the design of wide-body wheel brow, pure black wheels and black side skirts under the enclosure, the new car is also equipped with off-road AT tyres and red sports calipers.
    At the top, the Geely Cowboy also features an oversized roof rack for off-road equipment, with a cargo area of 1.3m² and a maximum load capacity of 50kg. bikes, surfboards, camping gear and other oversized equipment that won't fit inside the car can be placed on the roof. The words ‘BORN FREE’ engraved on the luggage rack further emphasise the spirit of discovery and fearlessness of the Geely Cowboy. Four spotlights can be added to the front of the luggage rack (not officially fitted as standard).

    The side D-pillar design of the ‘multifunctional tide travelling bag’ can not only further strengthen the storage capacity of the whole vehicle, but also greatly enhance its tool attributes as an off-road vehicle. At the rear, Geely Cowboy is equipped with a very practical ‘Chao Travel Magic Bookbag’. It adopts the upper opening design, built-in mesh bag separation area, the bottom is also set up to block the liquid leakage holes, with a leaching function, outdoor stream tracing, beach play, it is convenient for users to store umbrellas, mackintoshes, rain shoes and other water-related wet things.

    The latest teaser image has optimised details over the previous filing image, making the new car look cooler. From the previous declarations, the new car is based on the ICON model with an added kit and optimised front and rear surrounds. The use of traditional style door handles, the engine hatch also added two handles, and the use of the new Geely English logo car logo.
    Vehicle dimensions, the new car length, width and height were 4442/1860/1770mm, wheelbase 2640mm. power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5T engine, reference to the ICON, the maximum power of 181 hp, the peak torque of 290 Nm.
