ONVO L60, the first mid-size SUV from NIO's new brand Ledo Motors, has been officially launched, priced at Rs. 206,900 - Rs. 235,900. With the Baas rental electricity model, the price of entry is further reduced, starting at 149,900 yuan, with a standard range battery and a monthly battery rental fee of 599 yuan, and a long range battery and a monthly battery rental fee of 899 yuan.

Deliveries of the new car are scheduled to begin at the end of September. The car is purely electric-powered, and as NIO's second brand, deliveries will allow it to share the 3.0 and 4.0 switching network with NIO, and it will adopt NIO's newly adapted pay-per-degree switching model. In terms of Smart Driving, the L60 will use a purely visual programme, offering both high-speed and urban NOA experiences.

Designed by former Bentley designer Raul Pires, the ONVO L60 adopts the WAY UP design concept, with a closed front face that reduces wind resistance, and a large trapezoidal air intake below that combines with C-shaped deflector slots and split headlight clusters to create a strong visual impact.

With dimensions of 4828/1930/1616mm and a wheelbase of 2950mm, the car's length and width have been slightly increased compared to its ModelY counterpart, ensuring a spacious interior. The overall silhouette of the L60 expands the wheels as far as possible towards the corners of the body to create a firmer stance, and with the FSD variable damping suspension, expect softer road feedback.

Built on a 900V silicon carbide platform, the ONVO L60 offers two battery options: a 60kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and a 90kWh lithium ternary battery, supplied by BYD and Ningde Times respectively. In terms of range, the standard range version can reach 555 kilometres, the long range version 730 kilometres and the ultra-long range version over 1,000 kilometres. Meanwhile, the multiple designs serving to reduce the wind resistance coefficient enable the whole car to achieve an energy consumption of 12.1 degrees/100km, and moreover enhance the energy-saving performance under high-speed working conditions.
