Lynkco Z10 goes on sale, priced from $202,800, with a range of up to 806 kilometres

On 5 September, Link officially launched its new model, the Lynkco Z10, with five configurations and an official guide price of 202,800 yuan to 299,800 yuan. The model is based on the same platform as the ZEEKR 001, positioned as a medium-sized sedan, with a sliding back design and equipped with 800-volt high-voltage technology. All configurations have a CLTC range of up to 806 kilometres.

Exterior Design and Intelligent Configuration
Adopting the design language of the ‘Lynkco The Next Day’ concept, the Z10 features a family style front end, LIDAR on the roof, and side-view cameras on the front wings, supporting advanced assisted driving functions, including high-speed and city pilot assisted driving (NOA). The new car is also equipped with an active air intake grille, and the wind resistance coefficient of the whole car is as low as 0.198. It offers five colour schemes to choose from, namely, Morning Blue, Morning Red, Obsidian Silver, Aurora Black and Fluid Grey.

In terms of dimensions, the Lynkco Z10 has a length, width and height of 5028/1966/1468 mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 3005 mm. The rear of the car is designed with a hidden active lifting rear wing, which automatically deploys at speeds over 70 km/h and retracts at speeds below 30 km/h. Interior and Intelligent Cockpit
The interior of the Lynkco Z10 is simple, featuring a 12.66-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 15.4-inch centre screen, the LYNK Flyme Auto system with a four-zone intelligent voice assistant and a 25.6-inch AR-HUD head-up display module. The interior is available in ‘Morning’ and ‘Dawn’ colour schemes.

As for the smart cabin, the Link Z10 adopts AMD V2000A vehicle-grade chip, supports 3D desktop function and small window mode, and is equipped with Flyme Link and Co Pad function, which realises the sharing of arithmetic power and ecological interconnection between the car's computer, smartphones and tablets, and enhances the in-vehicle entertainment experience. The rear seats provide ventilation, heating and massage functions, the doors are frameless, and the audio system is Harman Kardon branded with 1.6 kW amplifier and 23 speakers, supporting WANOS panoramic sound technology.
Power and Range Performance

In terms of power, the Link Z10 is built on an 800-volt architecture with dual silicon carbide high-performance electric motors. 702km 4WD Intelligent Drive Ultra variants have motors with a maximum power of 580 kW and a maximum torque of 810 Nm. The entry-level version of the motor has a maximum power of 200 kW and a maximum torque of 343 Nm, while the sub-top model has a motor with a maximum power of 310 kW and a maximum torque of 440 Nm.

In terms of configuration, the Link Z10 is divided into three main configuration gradients - Pro, Max and Ultra. Among them, the Pro is the entry version, equipped with 71 kWh power battery, CLTC range of 602 kilometres; Max and Ultra versions are equipped with a larger capacity of the ‘Golden Brick Battery’, according to the different power versions, the range of 702 kilometres, 766 kilometres and 806 kilometres respectively.

Chassis and Suspension

In terms of suspension system, Link Z10 adopts front double-wishbone independent suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension, and the top model is equipped with dual-chamber air suspension and CDC continuously adjustable electronically-controlled vibration damping system, with an adjustable range of plus or minus 30 millimetres in body height, and supports four-wheel drive with dynamic torque distribution function.


Market Competition and Pricing Strategy

In the pure electric mid-size car market, the Link Z10 faces stiff competition from the Xiaomi SU7, Pole Krypton ZEEKR 001 and BYD Han EV. According to the latest sales figures, Xiaomi SU7, ZEEKR 001 and BYD Han EV sold 13,120, 9,335 and 7,550 units respectively in July.
