Toyota to launch Century GRMN high-performance version or introduce it to China

GRMN has been attracting a lot of attention as the high-performance brand under Toyota's motorsport division Gazoo Racing. According to overseas media reports, Toyota plans to mass-produce a high-performance version of the Shiji (picture) GRMN, and is expected to continue to introduce it to the Chinese market for sale.
 

In terms of appearance, the concept car has a smoked air intake mesh, a very sporty front surround, a front lip made of carbon fibre, and wide through vents under the front end, all of which highlight its high-performance status. The 22-inch smoked multi-spoke wheels with red brake calipers further enhance the vehicle's combat atmosphere.

In terms of power, although the specific configuration has not yet been clearly announced, the current regular Sage is equipped with a 3.5L V6 plug-in hybrid system with a combined power of 303 hp. The high-performance version is expected to be equipped with a V8 engine to provide more powerful power output. In addition, the network revealed that the domestic price of the base version may start at 1.98 million yuan.
