Huawei's Executive Director, Chairman of the Terminal BG, and Chairman of the Intelligent Car Solution BU, Yu Chengdong, recently announced that all models in the Askjie series will be upgraded to Huawei ADS 3.0 intelligent driving starting in September. Reports indicate that ADS 3.0 will be the first to implement end-to-end human-like intelligent driving. Following the ADS 3.0 upgrade, the Askjie series will also offer a smarter and more efficient intelligent driving experience.

Since the beginning of this year, Huawei and Seres have conducted various activities to promote the development and popularization of intelligent driving technology. Seres, in particular, has held 22 sessions of the "AITO Intelligent Driving Experience Event." Each session invites internal employees to engage in a one-week intelligent driving experience using real vehicles in everyday scenarios from a user's perspective. This process includes establishing a feedback mechanism to continually optimize intelligent driving capabilities. To date, the total mileage covered during these events has exceeded 750,000 kilometers, with intelligent driving accounting for 79.6% of the total. This provides valuable data and user feedback for the ongoing optimization and iteration of intelligent driving functions.

Regarding intelligent parking, the AITO models are equipped with a fusion perception system comprising lidar, camera vision, ultrasonic radar, and millimeter wave radar. This system enables accurate and stable intelligent parking in complex scenarios, supporting features like memory valet parking and remote control parking. The ADS 3.0 version will enhance parking capabilities further, introducing functions such as intelligent driving from one parking space to another, parking after obstacles are removed, and remote one-key parking in and out. The valet parking feature has also been officially commercialized, enhancing the intelligent driving performance of the AITO series.

For high-speed NCA (Navigation Cruise Assist), new users exhibit over 80% trust in the system, which is attributed to the superior intelligent driving capabilities of AITO models on highways. The vehicles can smoothly and naturally change lanes, overtake, and perform other maneuvers while maintaining accurate perception and timely responses to the surrounding environment.

It is noteworthy that, despite the robust intelligent driving system, most new users do not fully rely on it. Statistics from the 22nd AITO Intelligent Driving Experience Activity reveal that 100% of new users consider "human-machine co-driving" a safer choice. A new user remarked, "In traditional driving mode, drivers must remain highly focused at all times. In complex and changing traffic environments, even experienced drivers cannot guarantee absolute safety. However, 'human driving + intelligent driving' achieves efficient allocation and seamless connection of driving tasks, leveraging the perception and decision-making capabilities of the intelligent driving system and the driver's timely intervention in emergencies, thereby significantly enhancing driving safety."

It is evident that intelligent driving has become the new norm for travel. As of August this year, the total mileage of Huawei's intelligent driving has reached 460 million kilometers, with the AITO series contributing the majority of this mileage. Moving forward, SERES will continue to deepen its collaboration with Huawei to further advance intelligent driving technology, allowing more users to understand and experience it, and collectively promote the leapfrog development of this technology.
