BYD Seal interior was released with a completely refreshed interior design. In the future, Seal's naming will be limited to the Seal EV pure electric model, while the plug-in hybrid model equipped with DM5.0 technology will be renamed Seal 07 DM-i. Officials said the continuation of the Seal's naming is also the result of the previous netizen's vote. 2025 Seal has been comprehensively upgraded in the aspects of technology, intelligence and performance, and the 2025 Seal and the Seal 07 DM-i will be ushered to the market together on 8 August.
In terms of the interior, the new car has undergone considerable changes, with the entire interior completely refreshed, adopting a design similar to that of the Qin L. It abandons the previous more sporty style and returns to the traditional family style. Like the Qin L, it features a black high-gloss centre console surface with beautiful decorative textures, and the entire edge of the centre console is curved for a sporty look. However, the interior still retains the wrap-around design, while the classic design of the gearbox shifter and surrounds is also retained. The new car features a two-tone interior with large leather wraps. The interior colour is now 'Satin Coral Orange'.

Seal introduces a new steering wheel style with a new matte design that is more elegant than before. The new car still comes with a large floating centre console with a cleaner car interface. Ambient lighting accents can be seen on the centre console and doors, and there is a faux carbon fibre design at the doors. Below the centre console, there is also a storage space, while offering wireless fast charging.
The vehicle's seats retain the sporty styling design, with one-piece seats and a focus on wrapping the flanks, but the design of the stitching style on the seats has changed and is no longer overly sporty.
In terms of appearance, the 2025 Seal basically continues the design of the current model, the main changes are first, the roof of the new LIDAR, indicating that the new car will be equipped with a high-level intelligent driving system; secondly, the optimisation of the wheel rims, the use of a more sporty wheel rims; thirdly, the rear of the car is replaced with a new BYD LOGO, no longer use the Build Your Dreams logo.
The 2025 Seal is built on BYD's e-platform 3.0 Evo technology, with SiC silicon carbide, 800V high-voltage platform and 12-in-1 electric powertrain as standard. In terms of handling experience, its chassis tuning will be upgraded and optimised to a certain extent, or it will be equipped with the Cloud Chariot-C Intelligent Damping Body Control System, and the overall chassis suspension adaptability, stability, comfort and handling will be further enhanced. Intelligent, the car may become the BYD brand's first sedan equipped with LiDAR, and equipped with BYD's self-developed advanced assisted driving system, reaching the level of L2 + level driver assistance.
