Dongfeng Honda Lieguang e:NS2 will be officially launched tonight

On the evening of June 25, 2024, Dongfeng Honda Lieguang e:NS2 will be officially launched. As Dongfeng Honda's latest pure electric SUV model, this car started pre-sale at the Beijing Auto Show in April, with a pre-sale price of 159,800-179,800 yuan. The vehicle uses a front single motor with a maximum power of 150kW and a 68.8kWh ternary lithium battery. The CLTC range is expected to be around 550km. The new car was developed and built by Honda's China headquarters team. The official said that the Chinese name of e:NS2 "Lie Guang" has two meanings: "Lie" is derived from the shape of the shooting brake coupe, which represents a gentleman's personality, self-confidence and courage, and represents a positive attitude of continuous exploration and galloping, and always being ready to go; the word "Guang" embodies Dongfeng Honda's profound insight into future travel modes, lighting up hope with pure electric power.
In terms of appearance, the new car has an avant-garde and sporty style. The front face adopts a closed grille design. The entire front face has a strong three-dimensional sense, and is matched with sharp headlights, which is very recognizable. In terms of body size, the new car is 4788/1838/1570mm in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2735mm, and is positioned as a medium-sized SUV. The side lines of the body are slender, and the vehicle does not adopt the traditional SUV shape, but adopts a fastback design, which further highlights its sportiness.
In terms of the rear, the new car adopts the currently popular through-type taillight group design, with broken line shapes on both sides, and the rear surround forms a good echo effect with the front surround. The interior design of the e:NS2 is very simple, and the center console is a through layout. The new car is equipped with an 11.5-inch projection HUD as standard, and is equipped with a smart cockpit. The car system is the Honda CONNECT 4.0 intelligent navigation system. The 12.8-inch central control screen integrates most functions, and also provides 12-speaker BOSE audio, Honda in-car gesture control function, AI voice assistant, in-car selfie/automatic upload of in-car accident photos when the vehicle is called in an emergency, child left behind detection and reminder function, plasma air purification and fragrance system, intelligent heating system, 220V external power supply function, etc.
In terms of safety configuration, the entire series of Lieguang e:NS2 is equipped with 7 airbags as standard and the Honda SENSING safety super-sensing system, including ACC active cruise control, lane keeping assist, collision mitigation braking and other functions, which can effectively improve driving safety. In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a ternary lithium-ion battery with a battery capacity of 68.8kWh, and the front single motor can output a maximum power of 150kW. In terms of battery life, the vehicle's CLTC range is expected to be around 550km.
