On June 24, we got more information from the official about Geely Galaxy E5, a compact SUV. The car will be equipped with Galaxy 11-in-1 intelligent electric drive. With the support of GEA architecture, CTB battery-body integration technology and G-TCS all-weather drive anti-skid system, its official elk test speed is as high as 78km/h, 0-100km/h acceleration time is 6.9s, 100km braking distance is 35m, and high-loop speed reaches 180km/h. At the same time, the car is expected to be officially launched in early August, with an estimated price of 130,000-170,000 yuan.
According to official information, the Galaxy 11-in-1 smart electric drive it carries integrates 11 major components such as motors, electronic controls, and reducers. It has a volume of only 72L, a weight of only 79.8kg, and a comprehensive efficiency of 90.04%. The lowest power consumption per 100 kilometers is only 11.9kWh. At the same time, the Galaxy 11-in-1 smart electric drive is equipped with Infineon TC397 power chip, which has the characteristics of high communication efficiency and fast power response. In addition, it benefits from the GEA architecture and is equipped with a number of self-developed technologies to suppress driving control risks. With its excellent vehicle posture balance ability, it can significantly eliminate the discomfort caused by pure electric vehicles in the user's impression. The 4-speed intelligent energy recovery can maintain continuous linear changes in braking force in real time based on the relative distance between vehicles, road congestion, slope information, etc., so that the occupants do not get motion sick or "nod their heads".
It is equipped with Geely's self-developed G-TCS all-weather drive anti-skid system, which can control the torque output of the electric drive based on the road adhesion coefficient and always maintain optimal road adhesion. At the same time, this car uses R&H virtual adjustment technology to simulate the global road map, and has gone through more than 10,000 adjustment iterations, and the attitude adjustment of the entire vehicle has been refined to 0.1deg. In addition, Geely Galaxy E5 adopts CTB battery body integration technology, the front and rear axle load ratio reaches the golden ratio of 50:50, and the center of mass of the vehicle is lower.
Looking back at the appearance, the Galaxy E5 adopts a tiger face bionic design, the LED headlights look sharp, and the C-shaped daytime running lights below imitate the tiger whiskers to enhance the visual impact. The rear of the car adopts a through-type taillight design, which creates a 3D effect inside and is very recognizable when lit. In terms of body color, the new car will provide 6 options: sunset red, evening cherry pink, morning mist gray, sky green, dawn white and streamer silver.
Inside the car, the Galaxy E5 once again returns to a more traditional design style, with three screens in the car composed of a floating central control screen + LCD instrument + HUD. The central control screen will have a built-in Flyme Auto system and is equipped with the first domestically produced Automotive-grade 7nm automotive chip Longying No.1. The body dimensions of the Galaxy E5 are 4615/1901/1670mm in length, width and height respectively, and the wheelbase is 2750mm.
In terms of power, the new car's motor has a maximum power of 160kW. Geely's self-developed Aegis Dagger batteries are available in two specifications, 49.52kWh and 60.22kWh, depending on the configuration. The corresponding CLTC pure electric cruising range is 440 kilometers and 530 kilometers.
