Recently, we learned from the official that Deepal G318 will be officially launched today (June 13). The car is positioned as a medium-to-large SUV, with a load-bearing body, extended-range power, full-time four-wheel drive system and dual differential locks. Deepal G318 also provides a wealth of original expansion parts, including luggage racks, spotlights, electric pedals, spare tires, etc.
     
In terms of appearance, the car adopts a square box shape for hard-core off-road, with a wide front surround and an overall smoked black design on the front face, and is decorated with C-shaped headlights on both sides, showing a tough and sporty styling. In addition, Deepal G318 also has a roof searchlight that can provide a 250m² illuminated area, and is combined with a luggage frame to reflect the exquisiteness of the original accessories.
 
On the side of the body, the new car still continues the tough and straight line shape, and is equipped with widened off-road guards on the side skirts and front and rear wheel eyebrows. Deepal G318 adopts an 18-inch five-spoke wheel shape, and the thick stripes are similar to the anti-slip wheel rims. According to the official statement, the dynamic load-bearing capacity of its roof rack can reach 80kg, and the static load-bearing capacity is as high as 300kg. The optional roof tent can also be installed to expand the upper and lower double-layer space to accommodate five people for rest.
 
At the rear of the car, Deepal G318 takes "Space Gate" as the theme, and the rear window glass and the black parts below form the main body. At the same time, the two sides of the body extend and intersect to form a lifting structure, forming a stable and strong support for the rear. The solid and heavy surround shape is matched with a full-size external spare tire, and the hard-core off-road vehicle attributes are uniquely recognizable. In addition, the car will also be equipped with an original trailer hook and high-position brake lights to further ensure off-road driving safety. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the car are 5010/1985/1960mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2880mm.
 
In terms of interior design, the overall design concept follows the style of hard-core off-road. The large area of ​​square and straight contour lines creates a thick center console shape, with a large number of physical buttons, wide and thick gear levers, and hollow armrests, which are convenient for functional operation in various driving conditions and also conducive to driving safety. In addition, the car is also equipped with a large-size instrument screen and a 14.6-inch central control screen, creating a good sense of technology.
   
In terms of power, Deepal G318 will be equipped with an extended-range power system. The 1.5T turbocharged engine can output a maximum power of 150 horsepower and is divided into two versions: single motor and dual motor. The maximum power of the single motor version is 185kW; the front and rear dual motor four-wheel drive version has a maximum power of 131kW for the front motor and 185kW for the rear motor, and the total system power is 316kW. The comprehensive range of the car reaches 1,000km, and the pure electric range under CLTC conditions is 190km. It is reported that when the vehicle is exhausted, the fuel consumption can also reach 6.7L/100km (CLTC). In addition, the vehicle's chassis adopts a double wishbone + multi-link suspension system, and is equipped with a full-time four-wheel drive system and double differential locks, as well as a 6kW external discharge function.
