Leapmotor Automotive recently announced that its new 6-seat SUV, the Leapmotor C16, will go on sale on June 28th. The vehicle is positioned as a mid-sized SUV with extended range and pure electric versions, and the full price of the Zero Run C16 is expected to be no more than $28,100 USD. This pricing strategy continues Leapmotor's traditionally cost-effective positioning, further enhancing market competitiveness.

Leapmotor C16 continues the design style of Leapmotor C10 in terms of exterior design, and the overall look and feel is consistent with the mainstream style of new energy SUVs. The body dimensions are 4915mm/1905mm/1770mm, with a wheelbase of 2825mm, belonging to the standard medium-sized SUV.The front design is similar to that of Zerodan C10, and the overall modeling is fashionable and simple, with hidden door handles and penetrating taillights increasing the sense of science and technology and recognizability.

The motor power is 170kW, and the battery capacity is 28.4kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, with a pure electric range of 134km, and the fuel consumption of the feeder announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) is 6.19L per 100km.

The pure electric version is based on the 800V silicon carbide platform, and the motor power reaches 215kW, supporting high-voltage fast charging and extremely fast charging speed. This technology ensures the convenience and efficiency of the pure electric version in long-distance driving.
