Compared with the current model, the new car has a younger and sportier appearance. The overall front face of the car adopts the latest family design style, and the chrome-plated grille runs through the entire front surround, which looks very dynamic. The front headlight group adopts IQ.Light intelligent projection headlights, and the eagle-wing shape connects the headlights on both sides through the decorative panel. At the same time, Tiguan L PRO also offers two styling designs: R-Line sports front face and pioneer front face. The R-Line version uses a large area of ​​honeycomb decoration on the lower surround and an "R" logo on the grille, which is full of sportiness. It is worth mentioning that IQ.Light will support multiple functions such as narrow road vehicle width indication, follow-up steering, dynamic light assistance, flowing turn signal, welcome/farewell projection light effect, etc. The side of the Tiguan L PRO adopts a muscular waistline design to highlight the sporty feel, and the proportions of the entire body are very coordinated. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4735/1842 (1859)/1682mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2791mm. In addition, the new car will provide 18/19-inch wheels to choose from. As for the rear, the new car is equipped with dot-matrix through-type taillights, which is in sharp contrast with the current Tiguan model and more recognizable. In the rear surround, the top-end model provides a honeycomb trim that echoes the front of the car, and is decorated with red trim on the edge. Entering the car, the Tiguan L PRO basically follows the overall design style of the current model, focusing on creating a sense of sportiness and technology in the cockpit. It uses a 15-inch central control screen + 10.3-inch digital instrument. Compared with the overseas version, the domestic version adds an 11.6-inch passenger entertainment screen. And this time, the Tiguan L PRO also adopts a hand-held gear design, and the idle gear shift position is replaced by a knob screen that can display a variety of information. The seats and center console are decorated with blue stitching, and the center console and seats of the top-end model are also made of Alcantara material, showing a good sense of exquisite sportiness. In addition, the central armrest area of ​​the rear seats of the new car can be folded down separately, making it convenient to take items from the trunk in the car.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine with two outputs, with a maximum power of 137kW and 162kW, and a peak torque of 320N·m and 350N·m. The transmission system uses a 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox, and the top-equipped 380TSI model will also be equipped with a timely four-wheel drive system.
