A few days ago, we obtained a set of actual pictures of the new aito M5 from domestic social media. Previously at the Huawei Hongmeng ecological spring communication meeting Yu Chengdong announced that the new aito M5 will be officially launched on 23 April. The new car is expected to be upgraded for intelligent driving as well as driving control, and will continue to launch pure electric as well as extended range models.
Externally, the car comes with a closed air intake centre mesh and is a purely electric version of the car. The new aito M5 has been fine-tuned in terms of exterior details, with a smoked logo at the front and silver trim at the lower surround replaced with black. Other parts remain the same as the current model.
On the side of the car, the new camera assembly at the wings and the chrome trim around the windows have all been replaced with a smoked design. The new car also rides on black dual five-spoke wheels with red brake calipers, further adding to the sporty look. In addition, we can see the roof equipped with LiDAR.
Power information has yet to be announced, with reference to the current model being available in both pure electric and extended range power options. The electric motor is available in 272bhp rear-wheel drive and 496bhp four-wheel drive. The pure electric rear-wheel drive model has a range of 602 and 620km, while the pure electric four-wheel drive model is 534km. while the extended range model is equipped with a 1.5T engine as a range extender, with a maximum power of 152hp, the CTLC's pure electric range ranges from 230 to 260km.
