Starting at $139,800, the new-generation Hyundai Sonata goes on sale

On March 26, we learned from the official Beijing Hyundai, its midsize car - the eleventh generation Sonata officially listed, the new car launched a total of six configurations, pricing range of 13.98-186,800 yuan.
The all-new Sonata, which debuted at the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show, adopts the global ONE MODEL unified design and is developed based on globally unified data, molds and related standards. The exterior styling is inspired by interstellar warships, creating a stylish and sci-fi sense of both interstellar battleship front face, with a more futuristic sense of impact. The Horizon Through Daytime Running Lights adopts a sweeping line, outlining the LED Daytime Running Lights and Direction Indicator Lights as a single unit, presenting a more fashionable and minimalist style.

Come to the side of the car, the new car adopts a coupe-style sliding back shape design, the waistline is full of power, has a strong sports attributes. Smooth body lines extend to the H shape through the tail lamps, tail lamp group using many digital dot matrix elements, quite recognizable. Sharp LED through tail lamps combined with the two-tone rear bumper, with the tailgate cover on the ducktail, make the vehicle looks very dynamic. An N Line version is also available, featuring a more sporty frosted paint finish and a bilateral four-exit exhaust layout. The center grille, side fenders, rear end and many other places bear the N Line logo, and the 19-inch wheels have an exclusive five-spoke design with red calipers.

In terms of interior, the new Sonata's digital intelligent cabin is laid out with the driver in mind, using dual 12.3-inch curved displays to integrate the center control and instrumentation, and replacing the rotary electronic pocket shifter and multifunction Morse Code leather steering wheel with a penetrating air conditioning vents to enhance the interior's sense of hierarchy and upscale feel. The N Line model further adds red trim and other elements that further emphasize the sense of sportiness.

In terms of the car, the new Sonata adopts Hyundai's CCNC intelligent internet architecture, which supports personalized features such as fingerprint recognition, identification, digital key, seat memory, OTA upgrades, as well as connected features such as CarPlay. At the same time, the car will be equipped with a large sunroof, 12-speaker BOSE audio, and multiple adjustments for the main driver's seat, thus increasing the car's driving experience. It is worth mentioning that the all-new Sonata is equipped with the Hyundai Smartsense Safety System, which adds the three major assisted parking functions of RSPA Remote Intelligent Parking Assist, PCA-R Rear Parking Collision Avoidance Assist, and PDW Front/Side/Rear Parking Distance Warning to provide a maximum of 27 ADAS driver assistance functions.

In terms of dimensions, its length, width and height are 4945/1860/1445 (1450) mm, with a wheelbase of 2875 mm. power, the new Sonata will be equipped with 1.5T and 2.0T turbocharged engines, the former with a maximum power of 170 hp (125kW), the latter with a maximum power of 250 hp (184kW). The transmission system is matched with an 8AT gearbox.
