BYD Qin Plus and Destroyer 05 may push 79,800 new cars

Recently, we learned from domestic social media that BYD will start a new round of price war after the year. BYD Qin PLUS and Destroyer 05 will soon launch new models "Honor Edition" with an official guide price of 79,800 yuan. It is speculated that the Honor version model is expected to use fabric seats and adjust some configurations.
BYD Qin PLUS is positioned as a compact car with a price range of 99,800-179,800 yuan.Previously, in November 2023, BYD Qin DM-i launched a limited-time discount of 10,000 yuan, and the starting price dropped to 89,800 yuan.The upcoming Honor edition model with a price of 79,800 yuan is also expected to be a DM-i plug-in hybrid model.

BYD Qin PLUS offers DM-i plug-in hybrid version and EV pure electric version. The plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a 1.5L engine with a maximum power of 110 horsepower and an electric motor with a maximum power of 180 horsepower. The transmission system is matched with an E-CVT gearbox and has a NEDC pure electric cruising range. There are two types: 55 and 120km. The 2023 pure electric model is equipped with two motors, 136 and 204 horsepower. The 136-horsepower CLTC pure electric cruising range is available at 420km and 510km, and the 204-horsepower CLTC pure electric cruising range is 610km.

BYD Destroyer 05 is positioned as a compact car with a price range of 101,800-157,800 yuan. Only the plug-in hybrid DM-i model is available. It is equipped with a 1.5L engine with a maximum power of 110 horsepower and an electric motor with a maximum power of 180 horsepower. The transmission system is matched with an E-CVT gearbox. The CLTC pure electric cruising range is available in 55 and 120km.
